The immortal Rafi

Mohammad Rafi is probably one of the Greatest singers
coming from the Indian sub continent.Besides being the most melodious and versatile singer, he was also a Great human being.Simple , down to earth and ever helpful. In the highly competetive world of Indian cinema, he remained totally unaffected by any glamour or Greed...Truly a respected and beloved singer of all times...

Three reasons to love Mohammad Rafi and respect his talent...

1, The most important reason being that Mohammad Rafi has the most perfect voice that any singer can ever hope to have, which is reason enough for any music lover to love Mohammad Rafi and his singing..

2, He is the most versatile singer ever...he has covered all the ragas and every aspect of Indian film music , be it Classical, light romantic, intense and emotional songs or heart wrenching melodies, religious songs or the westernized club songs ..he has never compromised in his singing, he has always given his best to each and every song that he sang...

3, Rafi is the greatest unifier that India has known..other than another towering personality in the film world Dilip kumar(Yusuf Khan).I personally feel that one can never think of Rafi as a muslim, he is Mohammad rafi, the singer who stirs souls with his singing, and who every indian looks up to..
There can be nothing greater... when a person is held in such high esteem..d respect his talent...
