Mangoe - recipes made with Mangoes ..

Ripe mango curry
Ingredients :-
Small sized ripe mangoes 5-6
2 cups  of water
4 green chillies, slit lengthwise
1 tsp chilli powder and ½ tsp turmeric powder
A few curry leaves
Salt to taste
Jaggery or sugar to taste
½ tsp cumin or jeera powder
Coconut milk 1 cup
For the seasoning:-
2 tablespoonfuls of any cooking  oil
6-7 seeds of crushed garlic
1 tsp mustard seeds and curry leaves 
Method:-
Clean the mangoes and remove the skin. Add 2 cups water and cook whole mangoes with green chillies, chilli powder, turmeric powder, curry leaves and salt.
Add cumin or jeera powder and mix into the boiling curry . Let it cook on low fire  until the mangoes are cooked and the gravy thickens. Finally add the coconut milk and mix well and let the curry simmer  for a couple of minutes.
Season the curry by heating oil in a pan , add the mustard seeds. When they splutter add crushed garlic , fry till well browned and add the curry leaves . Pour the hot oil seasoning into the curry. Serve hot with Rice or chapatis.

Mango delight
Mangoes 3-4 - clean, remove the skin and cut into pieces, keep a few pieces aside
Sugar to taste
Yogurt 1 cup
Method
Cut ripe mangoes into pieces and blend  with yogurt and sugar to a smooth paste.Transfer the whipped mangoe mixture to a bowl and add the choppped mangoe pieces and mix well.Chill and serve..
